More than 245,000 outages are now keeping homes and businesses in the dark, Oncor spokeswoman Megan Wright says, because "the storms just will not stop, and lightning has been a huge problem." That number is a large increase from earlier this morning.
Wright says Oncor is working to restore power, but as soon as they make a repair in one area, an outage happens somewhere else. Last night, Oncor restored power to 150,000 homes and businesses, "but new ones keep coming up," Wright says.
