This weekend: home tour, shopping, dinner theater, art crawl

The Winnetka Heights Home Tour is Saturday. There are seven vintage houses, with Christmas decoarations galore (let us know if you see any decorated toilet tanks). Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 the day of the tour, and they’re available at Turner House or online here.

The 14th annual Jingle Bells on Bishop starts Friday, from 6-10 p.m., and continues Saturday from 4-10 p.m. This year’s theme is "A Jazzy Christmas," and there will be entertainment on two stages.

On Friday and Saturday, the CrossWise Players present the Christmas version of "Heaven Tonight," which centers on a talk show in heaven. They’ll interview all the major players from the Christmas story. The dinner starts at 7 p.m., and the play is at 8 p.m. Tickets to the show at Kessler Park United Methodist Church are $12.

On Saturday from 5-9 p.m., Tyler Street will get it moving with the Tyler Davis Art Crawl. House of Dang, Oak Cliff Bicycle Co., Cliff Notes Prolonged Media, Mighty Fine Arts, Daniel Padilla Gallery and From the Ends of the Earth will have open houses.
