Turner House roof repairs to start this month

The Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts has raised enough money to begin repairing the roof on Turner House, the 1912 Winnetka Heights mansion that is its clubhouse.

Work on the house will begin this month with money from donors including the Winnetka Heights Neighborhood Association, the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League, Shambala Body Gallery and the Bishop Arts Merchants’ Association.

The society has enough money to complete the most urgent repairs to the roof, and they’ll begin further repairs as they raise money.
