This weekend: movies, gardening, dedication

Tonight at 7 p.m., “Gimme Shelter” plays at the Texas Theatre, and “Amores Perros” plays at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5.

The 16th annual water-wise landscape tour is Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The free, self-guided tour starts at Kiest Park Recreation Center. At the top of every hour, Dallas County master gardeners will give 30-minute talks on water-wise gardening.

The Twelve Hills Nature Center is celebrating the completion of its entrance of stone walls with a dedication ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. There will be children’s activities and food and drink from noon-4 p.m.
