Restaurant talk: Cafe Brazil holiday menu

Like the turning of the leaves, shorter days and the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, every year, people anticipate the holiday menu at Cafe Brazil.

Well, it’s finally here, and it runs through the end of the year.

Here are this year’s specials:

Jalapeño pork chop and eggs, $9.99 — served with apple and corn relish and roasted corn grits.

Cinnamon pumpkin pancakes, $6.99 — topped with cinnamon butter and powdered sugar.

Holiday pancakes, $6.99 — three buttermilk pancakes filled with granola and dried cranberries, topped with butterscotch chips, cranberry butter and powdered sugar.

Pumpkin cheesecake with brownie crust, $4.99

Bread pudding, $3.99

S’mores latte, $3.99, or s’mores hot cocoa, $2.99

Caramel apple cider, $3.99

Candy cane dream, $3.99, a frozen drink that tastes like a candy cane.

Candy cane latte, $3.99

And of course, the holiday blend coffee is back in regular and decaf.
