Bishop Arts: Holiday finds at IndieGenius

If you haven’t been over to IndieGenius, the new micro-boutique Etsy marketplace in Bishop Arts, you’re late! Make Shop and Studio opened this lovely mall-type shopping center just in time for holiday shopping, whether your list includes stationary or antiques or even “Elk Poop in a Can” candles.

A few favorites:

Blue Eye Brown Eye is a wonderful stationary stop and these Merry Christmas vintage inspired letterpress gift tags are perfect for gift-wrapping. Who doesn’t love letterpress?

You can’t help but love Mountain Mama Kitchen Co’s soy candles in a can — hand-poured with love!

These soy and all cotton wick scented candles with their signature 8 oz. vintage inspired soy candle tins might have caught your eye at the Urban Street Bazaar. I’m particularly intrigued by their “Elk Poop in a Can” candle. You won’t be able to not take a sniff.

Don’t miss the Modern Relics shop — their vintage modern refinished furniture is revamped with style. Owner Nicole Cullum Horn can breathe new life into any piece, and her custom finishes will make your heart melt.

Frankly, having a location for Etsy artists to set up shop is the greatest idea since sliced bread. Thanks goodness Oak Cliff thought of it!
