This weekend: Blood drive, church party, music, spaghetti western, art

Lots of stuff happening today, Thursday, Sept. 29. There’s an outdoor fish supper at the site of the Sylvan | Thirty development. Today is National Coffee Day. And IndieGenius is hosting a happy hour from 5-8 p.m.

Anytime Fitness in the Bishop Arts District is hosting a blood drive for the Red Cross from 3-7 p.m. Friday.

Grace Temple Baptist Church hosts “Party & Praise” from 1-6 p.m. Saturday at Lake Cliff Park.

Roky Erickson performs at the Kessler Theater Friday. Brave Combo and Club Wood perform Saturday.

The Texas Theatre screens “For a Few Dollars More”, among other movies this weekend.

Oak Cliff-based artist Ray-Mel Cornelius has a show at the Norwood Flynn Gallery titled “Poets and Cattle,” which runs through Oct. 15.
