The King Bucks lead off Dallas Zoo concert series

The Dallas Zoo and Kessler Entertainment Group are presenting a series of three nighttime concerts at the zoo, starting Saturday, Aug. 11 with the King Bucks.

Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for children 3-11 in advance. On the day of the concert, tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children. Zoo member receive discounts.

The concert starts at 7 p.m., but the zoo opens at 6, and sections of the zoo will be open, including the Koala Walkabout, Wings of Wonder, Primate Place, Herpetarium and Bug U.

The “Zoo Tunes” concerts in September and October feature tribute bands. Satisfaction, a tribute to the Rolling Stones, performs Friday, Sept. 14. And Fast Lane, featuring the music of the Eagles, is Saturday, Oct. 6.
