DISD’s new app

The Dallas Independent School District launched a new app for iPhones and Androids yesterday, according to the Morning News.

The app lets parents and students see grades, bus routes, emergency notifications and contact information. It looks like the app allows for several features, including event information and language translation to Arabic, French, Spanish and Vietnamese. The app joins another DISD app that lets users access library accounts.

The app is free and downloadable here.
