This weekend: Music, movies, art, beer

A CD release party for “The Sparrow Project,” a Carter Albrecht tribute album, is tonight at the Kessler Theater. The Kessler has The Infamous Stringdusters Friday and David Lindley with the O’s Saturday.

The Texas Theatre is screening “Annie Hall.”

“Best Friends,” an exhibit of pet-themed paintings from professional illustrator Linda Helton, runs through Sept. 29 at the Davis Foundry gallery. A reception for Helton is from 6-10 p.m. Saturday.

The Untapped beer festival starts at 1 p.m. Saturday on Singleton, near the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge.
