Bolsa has a new dinner menu and is no longer open for lunch, although it is still open for brunch on the weekends. Bolsa Mercado, half a block away, has expanded its lunch menu and reconfigured its seating arrangement to better accommodate a lunch crowd. The lunch menu includes many of the sandwiches and salads from the previous menu, plus a burger, a chicken breast sandwich, pasta soups and salads priced $7-$11 each.
Justin Holt, the Lucia cook who staged ramen pop-up shops at Ten Bells Tavern, has moved to Driftwood.
Driftwood chef Omar Flores and owner Jonn Baudoin are working on a tapas place at Trinity Groves called Casa Rubia, which is expected to open in August.
