Methodist hosts conference on hoarding Friday

photoKings Highway neighbor Jerri Locke keeps mentioning this hoarding conference to me, and she’s never even been inside my house, so I assume it’s because she wants me to tell you guys about it and not because this is an intervention.

“Lighten up!” the 2013 Southwest Conference on Hoarding is from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, June 7, in the Hitt Auditorium at Methodist Hospital. The keynote speaker is Cory Chalmers form the TV show “Hoarders.”

The conference is for professionals as well as people who are concerned with a relative or friend’s hoarding tendencies. Registration costs $25 and includes breakfast and lunch. Here is the schedule:
