Texas Sen. Wendy Davis, a Democrat running for Texas Governor, opened a field office in Wynnewood Village Sunday.
About 100 supporters cheered Davis as she arrived at the makeshift office, a former clothing store with a leaky ceiling. Davis told supporters she had attended three church services in Oak Cliff Sunday. She also made a stop at the opening of a new Texas Organizing Project office at 401 W. Jefferson.
Davis told supporters that she is depending on Democratic southern Dallas in her run for governor.
Her Republican opponent, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, is from Duncanville.
