Flournoy Cos.’ 327 Sunset apartments in San Antonio
It’s a possibility, according to a case the City Plan Commission will hear this week.
Georgia-based Flournoy Development Co. is requesting to create a 3.3-acre lot from what is currently 13 adjacent lots on Beckley at Oregon avenues, just south of Interstate 30.
Flournoy develops, constructs and manages apartments mostly in the Southeast and has several projects in Texas. The company calls its 3.3-acre project City View at Kessler Park in a document filed with the plan commission. Flournoy recently has announced plans to build apartments in formerly industrial areas such as that, including one in Louisville, Ky.
The property is in the Oak Cliff Gateway, where zoning approved in 2015 allows for as many as eight stories and requires a mix of uses, such as retail or office plus residential.
City View at Kessler Park is bound by Beckley, Oregon, Donosky and Della. It’s across the street from the Lone Star Donuts plant, between Methodist Dallas Medical Center and I-30.
