A couple of Oak Cliff restaurants are throwing free New Year’s Eve parties:
Bbbop has DJ Spiraldrive of Spinster Records plus a one-night-only craft cocktail menu. This “locals only” party is from 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m.
Oddfellows has karaoke from 8:30 p.m.-1 p.m.
The Foundry also has a free party with DJ Yung Wave and a champagne toast at midnight.
The Texas Theatre has a mod New Year’s Eve party with performances by the Pistolettes go-go dancers, Texas Burlesque Peepshow, Sleazy Mancini, DJ Wild in the Streets and more. It costs $25-$45.
The Kessler Theater offers “dancing and desserts” with the Singapore Slingers. Tickets cost $35-$55 and include dessert and a champagne toast.
