This weekend: Christmas singalong, pop-up market, holiday concert

House of Dirt will host a pop-up market this weekend.

The group that’s renovating the church on Windomere at 12th host a Christmas singalong from 7-8:30 Thursday.

Folkie, the fashion line from neighborhood resident Julie McCullough, hosts a pop-up market at the new Dirt Flowers event space on Seventh at Bishop. Artists and vendors will sell their wares in the space Dec. 22-24, and 5  percent of all sales will go to Hogg Elementary’s art education program. It’s open noon-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

John Holiday returns to the Kessler Friday for a Christmas performance that mixes jazz, classical, R&B and gospel. Kirk Thurmond opens.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” continues its run at the Texas Theatre through Saturday night.
