I didn’t explicitly state this when we featured Eno’s Pizza Tavern in the September issue, but their pizza may have been the best I’ve ever eaten. I had the Moma’s Pie, with tomatoes, olive oil herbs and basil, and the ultra-thin slices were scrumptious.

Now, this is not a pizza for the cheap and hungry. My husband and I put away the entire large pie by ourselves (and very quickly, I might shamefully add). The large pizzas at Eno’s run from $15 to $18, whereas a large at Papa John’s might run you $8.99 with a coupon. But the Moma’s Pie was so worth it.

I also glimpsed the salads, which were piled high with toppings, but haven’t tried one yet. That will be my next order.
