Free DSO concert at Kidd Springs Park Tuesday

Thanks goes out to to Kessler Park resident Lea Ann Stundins and her Mommy’s Wish List blog for the reminder on the slate of free Dallas Symphony Orchestra concerts coming up.

Mark your calendars for next Tuesday night’s outdoor concert at Kidd Springs Park, which begins at 8 p.m. and includes roughly an hour of music. If it rains, the concert will move indoors to the Kidd Springs Recreation Center.

We can’t wait for this year’s return of the DSO to Kidd Springs Park. We’ve organized a lot of pre show activity. Tweet EQ will return and take the mainstage. Lisa Markley will perform near the Butterfly Garden. Come find out about the children’s activity THE LADYBUG SPRINKLE. Dallas Fire and Rescure will be on hand. There’ll be a children’s bouncehouse, facepainting and food and drinks for sale (in case you just want to ride your bike over sans picnic basket). Come join us and help us raise needed funds for the Kidd Springs Recreation Center. This event is rain or shine. Hurray!
