True Crime victim becomes alleged perpetrator

A recent post from reporter Steve Thompson on the DMN crime blog says "an arrest for a charge of online solicitation of a minor won’t always make the news," but Thompson made an exception for 52-year-old Stevens Park resident Glenn Alan Almack.

Two things made this case interesting, Almack says: "Ironically, Almack can be seen in a 2007 WFAA newscast, identified as a YMCA ‘Princess leader,’ talking about background checks," and he also has been accused in stings in two different states — "What are the odds?" Thompson asks. Read more details in his post.

Also somewhat ironic: We interviewed Almack for our February True Crime segment after he was the victim of a car burglary.
