Advocate video: Christmas in the OC

Elmwood residents Jamey Boozer and Steve Hammond have one of the most spectacular displays of Christmas lights in Dallas. They spend all year planning it, and they have figured out how to get certain expensive items shipped from wholesalers in China.

They told us all about it in the December Advocate, and their display is set to go live this weekend. Here is a link to their Web site.

In this video, they explain how their 500 light channels work, and show off their most coveted item for ’09 — LED snowflake tubes.
