Texas Theatre has movies every week, a new website

The Texas Theatre has a $5 movie every Tuesday night. This week it’s “Withnail and I”, a comedy from 1987 that I had never heard of, but it looks pretty funny according to the trailer.

Next week is Alfred Hitchcock’s cinematic stunt, “Rope”, which was filmed in 10-minute takes over a few weeks, had only nine edits and is presented as real time.

And on Thursday, July 29, the theater is screening “Return to Giant”, a documentary about the filming of “Giant” in Marfa.

Check out the full line-up, at the Texas Theatre’s clean new website.
