The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League’s first president, Mary Griffith, will speak about the league’s early days at their quarterly membership meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Turner House.

She’ll talk about what spurred her and Ruth Chenoweth to create the league in 1974 and what their first home tour was like.

Corrie Coleman, an Oak Cliff teenager who created a historical walking tour of the Bishop Arts District, will also speak.

Hors d’oeuvre and wine will be served. Admission is free for members and $10 otherwise.
