The Golden Oaks Scholarship, from the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce, awards $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who are enrolled in an Oak Cliff high school or are Oak Cliff residents. The deadline to apply is 3 p.m. Friday, May 20. Recipients will be selected and notified by June 3.
Applicants must enroll in a community college or university in Dallas, Tarrant or Denton county in the fall semester.
To be considered, submit an application, resume, essay, official grade transcript and one letter of recommendation.
