Churches fill backpacks for students who cannot afford them

Last year, we told the story of three churches that share one building on West Colorado at Fullerton.

These three churches, Promise Metropolitan Community Church, Sanctuary of Love Church and Loving Faith Covenant Church, are known for their community outreach to nearby schools and the residents of Cliff Manor.

Members of all three churches teamed up with Men of Essence to buy school supplies for kids at Stevens Park Elementary School. Last week, they filled some 325 backpacks with school supplies so every student at Stevens Park will have what they need to start school.
