How many potholes will $334,000 fix?

city logoThat’s the amount the council will be asked to spend to keep the control tower open at Dallas Executive Airport, which is on the federal sequester budget cut hit list. My favorite part of the request? The airport, which used to called Redbird and which most of us don’t even know exists, is crucial to national security, says the request by city staff.

The silliest part of this? That the council will probably accept that as a reason to keep the control tower open and vote the money.
