Want to see your pet on the cover of the Advocate? Well, it’s mathematically impossible unless you enter the Advocate Pet Cover Contest, and time is running out.

The deadline for submissions is June 14 (that’s next Friday!). Go here to fill out the form and upload a photo of your picture-perfect pet.

Be sure to tell us what makes your pet special. Did he/she survive an illness or overcome a traumatic experience? Does he have a unique talent or skill? Did he provide unwavering companionship to an owner in need? Or, maybe he’s just too darn adorable to keep out of the spotlight.

Take at look at last year’s magazine, which featured Monkey, the orphan cat, along with several other quirky, beautiful and awe-inspiring pets that represent our neighborhood’s personality.

Stay tuned — voting is June 21-July 11. The winner will appear on the cover of the September issue, and runner-ups will receive spots inside the magazine.
