Millan is one of six North Texas students who will appear on KERA’s “Speak Out: An American Graduate Special,” which premieres at 7 p.m. tonight, Aug. 28.
Krys Boyd of “Think” hosts the show, which talks with students who have overcome the odds to graduate and go to college. After the show airs on TV, it will be available at kera.org/graduate.
A second installment of “Speak Out,” scheduled for November, will focus on teachers.
