The Gardere 2014 MLK Jr. Oratory Competition in which Dallas school district students recite original essays, is live streaming this year.
Watch the competition live starting at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17 at dallasisd.org or on TV, Time Warner Cable and U-Verse channel 98. The event, now in its 22nd year, takes place at the Majestic Theater downtown.
