The January edition of Elmwoof, the pop-up dog park, is from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at 2100 S. Edgefield.

Verse & Rhythm, a monthly poetry night, is from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center. Poets, singers and artists perform in an open-mike session, followed by performances from headlining artists from 7-9 p.m

Mighty Fine Arts gallery opens “Cirkit of Mythos,” featuring artists Omar Hernandez, Eddy Rawlinson, Ryder Richards, Randall Garrett and Steve Cruz. A reception is from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, and the show runs through March 9.

The Texas Theatre shows “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” Saturday.

The Kessler has two big reunion shows this weekend. Pleasant Grove performs Friday, and Ten Hands performs Saturday.
