A grocery war may be stirring in Oak Cliff. Two new health-focused grocery stores are entering the market. Urban Acres had a grand opening last week. And Cox Farms Market it expected to open at Sylvan Thirty around Feb. 18.
Ann’s Health Food Center & Market opened in Oak Cliff in 1984.
“We have been selling strictly 100 percent organic produce for some time now, and we have always tried to carry the staple items,” Ann’s announced on Facebook. “To better serve our customers and our community, we will be increasing our selection of local and organic produce…”
The grocer is offering 10 percent off all produce this week, Feb. 3-8.
