Outpost, the Beckley Avenue restaurant that the guys from Smoke and Bolsa took over late last year, is featured in the February Advocate both as a date-night idea for free suckling pig tacos on Monday nights and as our featured restaurant this month.

The ‘post also is becoming a live music venue. Check out this slideshow from the Dallas Observer.

And now, there’s bocce. Neighbors are organizing a bocce ball league at Outpost for Tuesday nights. Sign up here. Organizers Julie and Rob Giacobbe suggest choosing the “register without a team” option, and teams will be organized later. It takes at least two to form a team.
