The great John Waters graces Oak Cliff with his presence this weekend. As I write this, there are some tickets still available to his show at the Kessler Theater Thursday, May 29. The Texas Theatre deems this John Waters weekend in Oak Cliff, and they’re screening the original “Hairspray” at 9 p.m. Friday, May 30.
The Dallas Zoo invites you to “love, love me zoo” at a fundraiser Saturday, May 31. Beatles tribute band “A Hard Day’s Night” performs, and restaurants will serve food and drinks. There also will be animal shows, arts and crafts, face painting and more activities for kids and adults. Tickets cost $60.
Walker and the Texas Dangers performs at The Foundry Friday. And Protomartyr performs with Dark Rooms Saturday. Both shows start at 9 p.m. and are free/
