This weekend: Pop-up porchetta, block party, ‘Guardians’

Lucia sous chefs Mike Gibson and Justin Holt, who were featured in the July Advocate, host a pop-up dinner at the Oak Cliff Social Club starting at 8 p.m. Thursday. The chefs butchered a 50-pound red wattle hog and made porchetta. Served with salsa verde and pickles, it costs $10 per person.

Roxy Roca performs a free show at the Foundry Friday.

The Oak Cliff Cultural Center celebrates its fourth anniversary with a block party from 3-7 p.m. Saturday.

Ten Hands performs at the Kessler Saturday.

The Texas Theatre is showing “Guardians of the Galaxy” all weekend.
