The Dallas Grilled Cheese Co., which is taking the old Book Doctor space in Bishop Arts, is hiring, and they put up a sign. Must be coming soon.

Hibiscus chef and Oak Cliff resident Graham Dodds is cooking the James Beard dinner in New York on Jan. 31, and he’s bringing lots of Texas meats and wine.

City of Ate food critic Scott Reitz liked VH, the new restaurant in the old Outpost American Tavern spot, but that doesn’t mean he thinks it’ll make it.

El Ranchito will begin selling tamales by the dozen ($15) on Dec. 19.
