Restaurant news: Bonnie and Clyde bar, Norma’s anniversary, Off Site Kitchen opens

A new bar apparently named for Bonnie and Clyde is coming to the corner of West Davis and Bishop. A business called Parker Barrows has applied for a liquor license. The bar replaces a botanica that closed in March 2013.

Norma’s Cafe celebrates its 59th anniversary Tuesday, June 23, when some menu items, including chicken fried steak, meatloaf and chicken and dressing are $1.79.

Have y’all tried the elote butter toffee at Dude Sweet Chocolate? It’s made with corn and Valentina hot sauce.

Melt Ice Creams, which has a shop in Fort Worth, is planning a mini shop inside Urban Acres.

Off Site Kitchen closed its Design District location this past weekend, and it reopens in its new digs at Trinity Groves Tuesday, June 16.
