The Wild Detectives released a new menu last week, featuring “tostas,” which are snacks that are “bigger than a regular tapa but smaller than a sandwich.”

The toasts are made with bread from Village Baking Co. and topped with flavorful ingredients. They include prosciutto and olive oil, avocado and tomato, turkey with arugula and honey mustard, tuna and roasted red peppers, tuna and anchovies, salmon with garlic aioli, and cream cheese with honey.

The bookstore/coffee shop/bar also is offering three new small plates: white Asparagus with grated cheddar and olive oil served with sesame seed crackers; Spanish escabeche mussels served with Kettle Chips; and roasted red peppers with anchovies.
