Crime news: Murder suspect wanted, man kills stepsister, 12-year-old arrested

The Dallas Police Department issued an arrest warrant for the suspect they say killed a homeowner and beat up  the man’s wife near Cedar Crest Golf Course. Police say the victims knew their attacker.

Residents of an Oak Cliff apartment called police Wednesday after watching a blood-covered man put a woman in a dumpster. The man, 41-year-old Anthony Davis, has been charged with murder in the death of his stepsister, 36-year-old Lashunda Richardson. Police say he stabbed her to death.

Thieves stole an ATM from a Shell station on Walton Walker Boulevard Wednesday. Police believe the the pickup truck used in the theft has been used in other ATM heists.

Police arrested a 12-year-old boy last week after the child threatened to shoot up his school, Trinity Basin Preparatory School. The seventh-grader showed another student a detailed plan of attack.
