Grassy knoll footage from Nov. 23, 1963

Dallas filmmaker Barak Epstein discovered this footage that his grandmother, Rose Biderman, shot in November 1963 when President John F. Kennedy came to Dallas.

She shot this footage on the day of his arrival at Love Field as well as footage of the Texas School Book Depository, the Old Red Courthouse and the grassy knoll on the following day, 52 years ago today.

Epstein heads up Aviation Cinemas, the team that manages the Texas Theatre and the Oak Cliff Film Festival.

According to Epstein, his grandmother shot this footage on Kodachrome Super 8 mm film. He scanned the film himself.
