City Council this week granted historic renovation tax exemption status to the 94-year-old retail building on West Davis at Edgefield.
Kacy Jones, a commercial real estate executive and Kessler Park resident, bought the building, which is now called West Davis Village, in December 2013.
Since then, the building has gained tenants including the Cozy Cottage children’s boutique, the Book Doctor, a hair salon and now a restaurant, Bouchon 1314.
