The sweet slices that made Emporium Pies famous in Oak Cliff will be moving East, with plans to open a shop in Deep Ellum right next to beloved barbecue joint Pecan Lodge on Main Street. On Instagram, the popular pie shop announced that its third store will open this fall, carrying the same favorite flavors and seasonal selections.
Emproium Pies’ other two locations, in Bishop Arts and downtown McKinney, have already been named some of the best places for pie in the metroplex, and have even been recognized by national media as a must-stop spot when visiting Dallas.
Owner Megan Wilkes did not immediately return a call and email seeking comment, but she told Guide Live that she hoped the new location would alleviate some of the pressure put on the Bishop Arts location, which can draw lines around the block on weekends.
