Pet photographer Amanda Jones will be at a new store in Sylvan Thirty, Iota, from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 1, to sign her latest book, “Dog Years: Faithful Friends. Then and Now.”

The Wild Detectives offers children’s story time from 9:30-10:15 Saturday with “Where the Wild Things Are.”

Neighborhood in the Bishop Arts District presents a group show, “Beautiful:Beautifaux” with the work of Lisa Lindholm, Haylee Ryan and Courtney Miles. It opens from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, April 2.

The Texas Theatre shows “Repo Man,” “Dune” and “They Will Have to Kill Us First.”
