Tyler one way

City Councilman Scott Griggs will hold two more town-hall meetings in June regarding a proposal to turn Tyler and Polk into two-way streets.

The planĀ appeared on the City Plan Commission transportation committee’s agenda this week, but the committee held it until June 21 in order to receive more public input.

The $3.1-million proposal would give Polk two lanes of auto traffic with protected bike lanes on both sides. Tyler would have four lanes of traffic. Both would have on-street parking.
