A driver was shot on South Hampton this morning, when gunfire from one or more pickup trucks struck three cars.
The shootings happened about 6:30 a.m. on South Hampton between Ledbetter and Illinois. The woman who was shot was taken to Methodist hospital in good condition.
The Dallas Police Department doesn’t know whether there was one shooter or several because of varying descriptions, but says the shootings likely are related. There is no apparent relationship between the victims.
The victims described the vehicle of the shooter or shooters as a silver or grey pickup, a black matte finish pickup with oversized tires and a white pickup. Police don’t know how many people were in the vehicle or vehicles. But the truck may have damage to the rear passenger side tire or quarter panel.
One victim described the shooter as wearing dark gloves and a mask.
