This weekend: Christmas trees, black Friday, shop local

Savvy’s Christmas Trees opens Friday, Nov. 25 at 610 N. Tyler, in the old white church behind Spinster Records. The pop-up is open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. through Dec. 24.

Spinster is celebrating Black Friday by opening at 8 a.m. It’s like a second record-store day.

A 40th-anniversary edition of “Taxi Driver” is among the Texas Theatre’s offerings this weekend.

Don’t forget to shop small at local businesses on Small Business Saturday.

Little D Markets, whose founder lives in Oak Cliff, pops up at Community Beer Co. in the Design District from noon-5 p.m. Saturday.

    Maybe the 3 foot trees for $50 dollars is the deal . . . or not.
    Beautiful trees, but super pricey.
