The Dallas City Council narrowed its search for a new City Manager to five candidates.
Dallas residents are invited to meet the candidates from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Dallas City Hall. The city manager develops the city’s budget and oversees the staff that carries out the policy decisions made by the city council and mayor.
The candidates are:
T.C. Broadnax, City Manager of Tacoma, Wash.
Jelynne LeBlanc-Burley, President and CEO of JLB Group
Maura Black Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Mark McDaniel, Assistant City Manager of Dallas
Jim Twombly, Director of Administration/City Manager of Tulsa.
