The Pin Show is a runway fashion show, now in its 10th year, produced by Oak Cliff resident Julie McCullough. It’s from 6:30 p.m.-midnight Saturday at the Bomb Factory. This year’s show features musical performances by Zhora, Blue, The Misfit, Picnictyme, Ronnie Hart and Sam Lao.

The Bishop Arts Theatre Center opens a short-play festival, “Down for the Count,” Thursday. The show, which spotlights the work of five female authors, runs through Feb. 26.

Shinyribs performs at the Kessler Saturday.

The Texas Theatre shows “Foxy Brown” Saturday preceding a “Soul Train” dance party.
