Man shot and killed near East Jefferson pool hall

A 30-year-old man died after he was shot in the 300 block of East Jefferson Sunday morning.

Dallas Police officers responded around 2 a.m. and found Marco Sanchez wounded from a gunshot.

He was taken to the hospital, where he died. Police said he had been involved in a disturbance that escalated to violence.

According to social media posts from his friends and family, Sanchez was a McDonald’s general manager and was married with five children. He was from Oak Cliff and attended Molina High School.
