Our sister publication, the Preston Hollow Advocate, ran a fascinating interview with Texas Monthly executive editor Skip Hollandsworth.

Hollandsworth, whose magazine story about an East Texas murder was turned into the movie “Bernie,” talks about his life as a crime writer.

In the video interview below, he goes into his reporting on Charles Albright, the “Texas Eyeball Killer,” a serial killer who lived in Oak Cliff and murdered three women in 1991.
