Knifepoint robbery leads police to suspect

Police arrested a man accused of robbing someone at knifepoint in Oak Cliff Friday.

The Dallas Police Department responded to a call in the 900 block of East Eighth Street, and the victim gave them a description of the robber.

Based on that, they arrested 19-year-old Diondrick Davis, who matched the description and was carrying a large knife.

After he refused to drop the knife, they used a 40-mm stinger, which fires rubber balls, as well as a Taser on Davis. He was arrested, and no one was injured.
