A man died last week in the alley between Jefferson Boulevard and Centre Street near the Texas Theatre.
Alan Alejandro Macias, 22, was stabbed to death around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 25.
A police report put the location as the 200 block of West Jefferson. But the Dallas Morning News reported that Macias was found in the alley between Zang and Madison, just south of Jefferson.
That location is near a parking lot that has been the site of violence in the past.
We asked the police for more information on this crime but have not yet received a response.
